Himachal is known for the Himalayan range all over the world. In Hindi, Himachal splits as Him + Anchal, which means the Land of snow, Him means snow or ice and Anchal means region or land. Himachal Pradesh is a state in the northern region of India and it is spread over 21,495 m² (55,673 km²). On the border of Himachal Pradesh, A beautiful state Jammu and Kashmir in the north, the land of 5 rivers Punjab on west and south west, Uttarakhand on South east and Tibet on the east, Haryana, and Uttarpradesh on south.

Himachal Pradesh was also known as the land of Gods (Dev Bhumi). It is punctuated with wood temples entirely. Himachal Pradesh is a multicultural, multilingual, and multiregional state like other states. It is also well known for its Handicrafts (carpets, Shawls, leather work, paintings, woodwork, metal work) not only nationally but also internationally. The folk dance and music reflect the cultured identity.

The state capital 'Shimla' has the only natural Ice skating rink in Asia. Himachal Pradesh has the richest reservoir of biological diversity. Many Medicinal plants are only found here. Its exquisite flora and fauna catch everyone and no one wants to leave the Land of snow. Himachal Pradesh is a host to nature lovers and explorers.
